London is widely regarded as expensive, but there are actually things that are more favorable in the British capital than we do: First, there GAP - that fact alone, cheaper than ours, because it is in our long time no longer exists, but the kids clothes there are just great. Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine), zwei eher kompakte, aber aussreichend grosse Schlafzimmer mit Quennsize-Betten und Einbauschränken, ein Bad und eine Art minimalen Balkon bzw. Freistand. Also in Summe das Vierfache dessen, was man als Hotelzimmer für den doppelten Preis bekommt. Dass nur einmal in der Woche gereinigt wird und es nur einen Satz Handtücher gibt, lässt sich dann noch einigermassen verschmerzen.
Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass es im Erdgeschoss des Komplexes einen riesengroßen Sainsbury's ist und rund um die U-Bahnstation die "üblichen Verdächtigungen" zu finden sind: KFC, Burger King, Starbucks. An der Ecke ist ein Post-Office für die Karten für Daheimgebliebene und für's richtige englische Frühstück gibt es gegenüber ein Garfunkel's , in dem man zwei üppige Breakfast-Teller für 10 Pfund bekommt. Es ist also für alles gesorgt!

Abb. Awa 18.3: Einen eigenen ganzen Fuhrpark für Kinder gibt es im London Transport Museum. Der Clou: Vor den Lenkränder sind Monitore, die auf denen Touren aus der Perspektive der Fahrer ablaufen. Wenn es das Wetter zulässt, sollte unbedingt auch ein Abstecher zum Kinderpark "Coram's Field" am Russels Square eingeplant werden. Angeblich steht am Eingang ein großes Schild, dass Erwachsene den Park nur Begleitung von Kindern betreten dürfen - das haben wir aber irgendwie nicht gesehen und a child we had this already, but there is also again very clearly on the website.
