Aber dann waren wir doch neugierig: Das knapp vor einem Jahr eröffnete Hotel Kloster Marienhöh in einem Ort mit dem vielversprechenden Boring name, what our views are well suited to Hunsrück, where can find the hotel (with navigation device) just behind the village of cat-hole. Special feature: The four-star hotel operates as a "hideaway & spa" and carries the labels "excellent conference hotel", "Lifestyle Hotel" and also "familotel.

short, a child-friendly design hotel with spa sounded more like our cup of tea and it is halfway to the family in Swabia - approximately at the level where it anyway does not feel like more of the open driving.

very gratifying was that we got freshly remodeled rooms in the building - a double room for the parents and the adjacent double room which was connected via an internal door to the first, for the Son of man. And because he and his age can stay free, we have for our generous ensemble only the price of a double room will have to pay.

in the price already is anything Included: Breakfast, use of the spa area, tennis court, bowling alley ... The restaurant has a "children's menu, high chairs, IKEA dishes, on the grounds outside a playground with lots of sand toys and indoor gyms or a similar multi-purpose hall with cars and building blocks and a nursery with other toys. For the self-sufficiency, there is a family kitchen. On arrival day, we have tested the half board and had a table for three-course dinner reservations and more. Just as we would do everything again - until the evening menus. First, it takes quite a long time with a toddler to eat through all the gears and other We talked with all the quality value for money for not very balanced.

was gone after that visit, our fear of family hotels like and we think that we will make this stop on our trips to visit the Southwest will continue to be happy. At least as long as our son pay for his own double room is not must.
